TASTY ANIMALS

The animals we eat are not too different from you and I.

Although it's easy to forget that when we browse the aisles of our supermarkets. A cow, a living, breathing, thinking animal has been reduced to a family pack of cutlets in the meat bargain bin. A pig, an animal that supposedly can feel emotions and is smarter than a dog, becomes a side dish for our breakfast plate and is referred to only as "pork". Our meat is so unrecognizable from the living creatures from which they came that sometimes we forget what we're actually eating.

The following images are part of a series I call "Tasty Animals", and it's here to hopefully re-establish an appreciation amongst my fellow carnivores for where our meat comes from.
